Selected materials shall fulfill the following criteria:

• The material should be described in the design and code in the designer’s documents and specifications to be used to achieve the required function.
• The material matches standards specified by recognized national and/or international standardization bodies.
• The material is easily available in the market and in-stock by relevant dealers/distributers.
• The material has a good track-record for its applicability.
